1954 Willie Mays HR - Original News Service Photo New York Times RARE - PSA/DNA

You are purchasing a 1954 Original News Service Photo New York Times Willie Mays. You will receive the exact item in the photographs. Thank you for looking. After extensive research, we nailed this photo down to the June 19, 1954 game at the Polo Grounds in New York between the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Giants. Bill Sarni (#15) catching for the Cards and Willie Mays (#24) hitting a two run Homer in the bottom of the second inning in just his 3rd season in the bigs. These 1950's TRUE Type 1 newspaper used photos are rare. Plenty of fake Type 1s on eBay. Don't be fooled by unvalidated and uncertified photos.
